Drama Camp and "Cinderella" Auditions Announced

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre is excited to announce activities for the summer. Drama Camp will be held June 8-12 and July 6-10. Younger children ages 6 to 10 will attend the morning sessions from 9 am to noon. Older children ages 11 to 15 will attend the afternoon sessions from 1:00 to 4:00. Tuition is $75 per child for the week and includes daily snacks, crafts, and camp t-shirt. Registration will be based on a first come, first served basis. A waiting list will be compiled after the session is full. Each camp week will end with a Friday show presented by the campers for their families and friends.
Registration for Drama Camp will begin on May 1st. Camp registration is a two step process where the camp tuition is paid online or by mail. After the tuition is paid, there is a camp application that must be completed and returned to WBCT. You can request the application from Pam at ask@winderbarrowtheatre.org, and we also hope to have it available on our Facebook page. When both steps are completed, your child will be enrolled in the camp. To pay your camp tuition you can go to our website at www.winderbarrowtheatre.org and click on the red ticket found on the right side of the homepage. Click on the "online" link, and then choose the camp session you want for your child (be sure to check the age and the dates). You can also mail your payment to WBCT, P O Box 1720, Winder, GA. 30680 along with your information, email address, the camp week you want, age, etc. Deadline for the June Camp is May 31st so we have time to order t-shirts. Deadline for the July Camp is June 28th. After each session is full, we will start a waiting list.
WBCT also has a summer show which will have auditions on Saturday, May 16th at 10:30 am. "Cinderella - Prince Street Players Version" will be presented by the WBCT Children's PLAYhouse on July 24-26. This is a musical so singers and dancers will be needed. Directors will be Billie Nye-Muller and Beth Spinella. Auditions will be for all ages, and you are asked to bring a current photo along with your calendar so that all rehearsal conflicts can be listed on your audition form. Rehearsals are usually on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. More information about the show can be found on the website.
